Blackmill Solutions is a small team that deliberately stays small: you talk directly to the people who actually do the work, with no account-management layer in between.

Experience

We have worked in software development for more than 15 years, several of them in architecture roles. It was rarely about individual features and mostly about the questions that make a project expensive later: how systems fit together, what happens when one fails, and how to build something that someone can still understand two years from now.

AI systems from practice

We build AI systems ourselves and therefore know where AI-generated code typically leaves gaps: permissions, error handling, traceability, and operations.

Design as part of the work

On top of that comes a sense for good design, not as an add-on but as part of how we build. That covers not only how this website looks but also how understandable an interface is for the people who use it every day.
